My First Easter

This was my first Easter. I am too small to hunt Easter eggs, but I was just as happy trying to eat them. To celebrate the weekend, I started at Honey and Grandpa's house. Uncle Josh came to visit, too. We played outside by the pool and I giggled a lot. In fact, I giggled so much I wore myself out. So I took a nap with Dad:

On Easter Sunday I put on my new Easter suit that Honey and Grandpa bought for me. In the picture below, I am the handsome one in the middle.

Uncle Josh says I look like him when he was a baby. Maybe that means I'll be handsome like him!

After we went to church, I spent some time with my "Texas family." Papa and Oma bought me an Easter basket full of goodies.
Then I played with Uncle Chuck for a while. He made me smile.
But I especially loved Auntie Gillian. She rocked me up and down and made me smile. And a special thanks to her for hosting my first Easter and for telling me all about South Africa. I hope I get to see her again soon! For my most dedicated readers (a.k.a. Kathleen--who Momma calls "Squirt"), my next post I am going to tell you all about the women who are fighting over me. It's a hard life.

Deep in the Heart of Texas

Momma and Dad love Texas. Momma sings me Texas songs. Dad tells me about Texas history (he did say something about the Alamo once, and then told me that Aurora could fill in all the details). So when the bluebonnets bloomed this year, I took the chance to partake in some Texas love myself. Thank you to Honey for my cute yellow outfit.

I tried to smell the flowers.

I also posed for some pictures in my room.

I am chubby.

Easter pictures will be posted soon!

March Madness

Yes, I realize that we are already into April, but I would be remiss if I failed to update you on all of the great things that happened during my first March. First, I went to the rodeo with Papa, Oma, Aunt Kori, and Dad. I wore Wranglers and a sweet pearl snap shirt.
Then, Momma introduced me to peas. I did my best Exorcist impression.

The weather in March was beautiful in Houston, so I took the opportunity to enjoy some outdoor activities. Being the responsible baby that I am, I always wear sunglasses to protect my baby blues.
Then I went to my first Bayou City Arts Festival. I am pretty much an art connoisseur. I learned that I can evaluate art with my eyes closed. I have also done some sunbathing in my own backyard.
I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.
