San Diego Zoo

Without doubt, the San Diego Zoo is an awesome place. I saw all sorts of animals. Here is a short run down of just a few of the animals.
Pandas: long line to see them, but then they were just sleeping. I yelled "Wake up, Panda!" And that actually worked, but then it just walked around and sat back down.
Polar Bear: So great. I stayed and watched this guy do laps in his pool. I loved him. In fact, I loved him so much that I crawled away from Mama and hid in the crowd, and then went poop while hiding. Seriously, I loved that polar bear so much I pooped my pants. That's love.

Lions: Still a favorite of mine. All smiles, and lots of "roars" from me on the lions.

Elephants: Who doesn't love elephants? I also loved the elephant statues.

Snow Day!

Here in the South we don't see a lot of snow. So I was very excited when my school made snow for the aptly named "Snow Day." We all got dressed in our snow gear....
And played and played...and played...in the snow.
My wonderful teacher slid down a hill with me. I loved it.
Thank you to my school and to all of the people who make Snow Day possible. It was a big hit!

Leave it to ME!

I like raking leaves. I am not a huge fan of being thrown into them.

I Know Why MAS is part of ChristMAS.

I am sure I am just late coming around to this, but in case you don't know, Christmas is awesome. I get to spend lots of time with my family and friends, we talk about Baby Jesus, Santa comes to see me, and I even get some new things to play with. I am a little bummed Christmas is only once a year...MAS CHRISTMAS!
Here are some highlights this year. Santa came to visit. I was a little skeptical at first until I realized he was pulling cool things out of that huge bag.
Poppy and Honey brought me this zebra that I can ride around the house. I love it and request cowboy songs when I mount up so that I have some jams to ride to. This is not a joke. I have been known to refuse to proceed until said cowboy songs are being sung.
Grandma Great and Grandpa Great send me an incredible easel. I am still learning what side is the right side for crayon vs. marker vs. dry erase crayon vs. chalk. It's confusing, right? But I am learning and I love it. In fact, it was the first thing I gravitated to on Christmas morning.
Dad and Mama got me a tool set. They thought a small wooden hammer would be less destructive. FYI...that was an incorrect assumption.

Finally, I really liked one of Dad's present...Wahoo Ladish Valves!
What a wonderful Christmas. Hugs and kisses to my family and friends, and special hugs to Baby Jesus!

Toddlers in Tiaras...or Sheep Ears

This year I was a sheep in our church Christmas pageant. I was ok with the whole costume thing for about 5 minutes.

As for how the actual pageant went, all I can say is look for me in the picture and THANK YOU MS. LARA!!!

Happy 50th Poppy!

This year my Poppy turned 50! To celebrate, Poppy and Honey went somewhere called Napa Valley. Mama says there is a lot of "whine" there. I don't know why they couldn't just stay around here...I have plenty of whine to go around. Cest la vie. In any event, (though I am behind in blogging it), HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY, POPPY. I LOVE YOU!

Soooo Thankful

For Thanksgiving this year my family came all the way from Lubbock, Illinois, and Missouri to visit. We had so much fun. I played peek-a-boo with Poppy and helped clean the pool. The weather was beautiful!

At night, I watched a little football with the family.

I spent a lot of time playing with Grandpa Great, Grandma Great, Uncle Darrin, Uncle Josh, Honey and Poppy.
Dada and Mama drew on the sidewalk with me for a while. I love being traced and tracing people. I helped Dad trace all three of us!

I am so thankful for my family. I was sad when everyone had to leave and go home, but am very happy I got to see all of them. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
