My grandpa tells me that you learn more from losing than from winning. After watching the United States suffer a loss knocking them out of the World Cup, I am struggling to learn much of anything. What I am sure I learned:
1. The team with the most witty fans doesn't always win.
2. The team with the cutest fans doesn't always win.
3. Trying to explain penalty kicks to non-soccer people like Ms. Lara makes my head hurt. But I still really like her.
4. I still love the USA.
5. I still love soccer.
6. I can't wait for 2014!
